Chocolate Eggs, Baby Animals & More
By, TJ Edmund
Chocolate eggs, baby animals, and so many sweet moments – here’s a look at all the fun!
This year’s Spring Fling brought families together for a Saturday filled with seasonal joy, connection, and an event thoughtfully built with children at its center. As guests arrived, they were greeted by sunshine, welcoming volunteers, and an inclusive environment designed so children of all ages and abilities could participate comfortably and confidently.
Throughout the day, children enjoyed an adaptive egg hunt, explored craft stations, were delighted by a local magician, and danced along to pop culture hits. The atmosphere stayed cheerful and uplifting — lively enough to feel festive, yet calm enough for families to move at their own pace.
Some of the biggest smiles came from the day’s most popular guests: baby goats and the Easter Bunny. Children lit up as they interacted with the animals and posed for photos to capture the moment.
Chocolate eggs and seasonal treats added an extra layer of fun, while both returning and new volunteers—along with members of the Board of Directors — remained present throughout the day to offer support, encouragement, and helping hands whenever needed. Their presence helped ensure the event ran smoothly and that every family felt supported.
Inclusion and accessibility remain central to every event we plan throughout the year. Each detail is shaped with the goal of creating spaces where all children can fully participate and feel welcomed exactly as they are.
We extend heartfelt gratitude to our sponsors, volunteers, and community partners, including Richwood United Methodist Church, Volunteer Coordinator Xachil & family for the adorable centerpieces, Naxa Arrow Farm, Angels Community Outreach, Tonya & Richard White, Shoprite of Mullica Hill, Absolute Entertainment, Magician Jake Strong, and Triple Oaks Nursery, for helping make this day possible.
As the event came to a close, families left with baskets full of treats, photos filled with smiles, and hearts full of gratitude.
This year’s Spring Fling was a reminder that when children are welcomed exactly as they are, joy comes naturally. We look forward to creating even more moments like these in the months ahead.
